When Chef Luigi steps behind the pan at The Italian Shop, it’s never just cooking…it’s a show!
This week he prepared his Green Tagliatelle with Zafferano Cream, combining succulent Tuscan sausage, creamy Taleggio, delicate saffron and spinach tagliatelle cooked perfectly al dente.
The sausage is browned in extra virgin olive oil with garlic, deglazed with white wine, then folded into a silky Taleggio and saffron sauce.
The vibrant green pasta brings everything together, finished with a sprinkle of saffron threads for that final Italian touch.
Rich, comforting, and full of character just like Luigi himself .
