On the 28th of April, we were delighted to welcome customers, friends, and fellow lovers of Italian culture to another one of our Italian Cinema Nights at The Italian Shop in Maidenhead. This time, we screened the acclaimed Italian film There’s Still Tomorrow — a moving, heartfelt, and beautifully crafted story that sparked plenty of conversation long after the credits rolled.
Our cinema nights have become a special way for us to bring a little piece of Italy to Maidenhead — not just through food and drink, but through storytelling, culture, and shared experiences. There’s Still Tomorrow was the perfect choice for this, combining humour, emotion, and powerful social themes with the unmistakable warmth and style of Italian cinema.
Guests enjoyed a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, the night was about much more than simply watching a film, it was about creating a true Italian experience right here in the local community.
One of the best parts of the evening was seeing people stay afterwards to chat about the film, Italian culture, and their own connections to Italy. Whether attendees were lifelong fans of Italian cinema or discovering it for the very first time, it was fantastic to see everyone come together and enjoy something a little different.
As a family-run business with deep Italian roots, events like these are incredibly important to us. They allow us to celebrate the culture we love while bringing people together in a warm and authentic environment.
