Massimo The Boss Born to the Business
As the 3rd generation of the Sardo family, Massimo practically grew up between the aisles. Starting at 17, he’s done everything from sweeping the floors to steering the whole ship. He knows every inch of the shop — and probably every customer’s favorite cheese, too. Some say the store’s espresso machine only listens to him.
Luigi The Sales Supremo
Originally from Abruzzo, Luigi has been charming customers and closing deals for over a decade — though we’re still not sure whether it’s his accent or his sales tactics that seal the deal. When he’s not managing the sales floor, he’s likely talking passionately about Italian coffee, football, or why his nonna’s recipes beat everyone else’s.
Martin The Deli Maestro
With over 3 years at the helm of our delicatessen and a culinary background sharper than our best cheese knife, Martin treats every cured meat and wedge of brie like a work of art. If it can be sliced, diced, or garnished to perfection — he’s your man. Rumor has it he can identify prosciutto varieties blindfolded (and probably has).
Roz The Paperwork Powerhouse
With 30+ years in retail, Roz has seen it all, filed it, and colour-coded it for good measure. He keeps the operational wheels turning and the paperwork pile from achieving sentience. If there’s a form, Roz has it; if there’s a spreadsheet, he’s already formatted it. Basically, he’s the glue (and the Excel wizard) holding the shop together.
